Meet a Sister

Why does a woman decide to lead of life of Mercy? What makes this life, a constant juggling of work, personal interests and spiritual commitment, rewarding for us?
Take a moment to meet some members of the Providence Regional Community. Find out how each has followed her own path to Mercy and how she lives the ideals of Catherine McAuley. Besides reading our stories, please feel free to write to us, as you continue your own journey.

Marianna Sylvester, RSM - campus ministry.
Suzanne Lachapelle, RSM - working in the city.

Meet an Associate
There are many ways to live a life of Mercy. For some it is making an exclusive commitment to the Community. For others, it is maintaining an independent lifestyle while extending the mission of Mercy as an associate. Spend a few minutes getting to know an associate, one or two of the women and men who have entered a mutually enriching relationship between themselves and the Sisters of Mercy.

Colleen Gribbin - a high school principal.
Kathleen Brennan - a mother and teacher.
