Helping out.

Mercy Volunteer Corps, a volunteer
organization committed to helping
make the world more merciful and
just, invites women and
men to give
one or two yearsof full-time service. Volunteers commit to compassionate service, a simple lifestyle in the
community and spiritual growth
assisting those in need.

Whether members of the Mercy Volunteer Corps are teaching at an inner city school for girls in Providence, serving meals to people who are homeless in New Bedford, MA, mentoring adults who need to learn basic work skills in Rhode Island or caring for youngsters who are living with HIV or AIDS in Honduras, their mission is common - service in the spirit of mercy. Taking time for yourself while serving God and others can result in a life-changing experience. A year or two with Mercy Volunteer Corps challenges you to be extraordinary, to expand your beliefs and look at the world through a new set of eyes.
